Old Greeny ParadeTuesday, April 28th, 2026 at 7pmWhat better way to celebrate the first ever Old Greeny Fringe Fest than with a mysterious cryptid parade down the waterfront trail!? It's a slow roll/walk with stops along the way for live entertainment.
Walk, bike, paddle skate, roll, bring your dog, bring the whole family! Costumes encouraged! Dress up like a cryptid or wear green for Old Greeny! We're talking bike lights, doggy costumes, walking puppets... All ages welcome! Meet up time is 6:00pm. Roll out at 7pm. The bike parade and paddle parade meets at the Ithaca Farmer's Market. The walking parade begins at GreenStar Pavilion (770 Cascadilla St). We'll meander along the waterfront trail (see the route below). The parade ends at The Cherry Arts with a special finale at about 8pm. Stick around as we uncover something mysterious on the waterfront. Groups will be guided back to the starting location every half hour until 9:30pm. |

When: Full moon rides happen from April to October.
May 1, 2026 — Flower Moon; 8pm roll out
May 31, 2026 — Blue Moon; 8pm roll out
June 29, 2026 — Strawberry Moon; 8:30pm roll out
July 29, 2026 — Buck Moon; 8:30pm roll out
August 28, 2026 — Sturgeon Moon; 8pm roll out
September 26, 2026 — Harvest Moon; 8pm roll out
October 26, 2026 — Hunter’s Moon; 8pm roll out
Details: Full Moon Lighted Bike Parades, are run by Bike Walk Tompkins
These are family-friendly community bike rides, aimed at encouraging rider safety and visibility.
We encourage you to put on some costumes, get your wheels lit up and come on a 5-mile slow roll around downtown Ithaca. Every ride explores different infrastructure and trails and we do ride on roads!
The group gathers together one half hour before sunset and we roll out right as the sun goes down so that we can really show off our awesome light displays.
At specific events, Vie Cycle will provide Wheel Lights for $20. They can be purchased and installed on-site. Feel free to bring your own fun, costumes and lights as well!
