Vie Cycle's Community Building Theatre events are immersive and interactive events where you don't just watch, you take part in the performance.
The objective of all Vie Cycle events is to create community through skill building. Vie Cycle works with producers, performers and artists to put on events where audience interaction is encouraged. Attendees are invited to move around, interact, and influence the show.

One Night With You- An Elvis Dinner Show
Are you lonesome tonight and looking for a hunk o' love? Well, Elvis isn't dead and he's crooning over dinner at K-HOUSE in the K-Room, and no that is not a joke about his substance use in the later years. Enjoy a 3-course meal, while you watch a 2-act show and by golly you might even decide you feel loose and want to sing along to your favorite classic rock songs.

Old Greeny Fringe Fest
Old Greeny Fringe Fest is a week-long, fringe festival in celebration of the weird, wacky, and whimsical, rooted in the legend of Old Greeny—the cryptid of Cayuga Lake. The festival activates traditional and non-traditional venues near the waterfront trail and on State Street in downtown Ithaca. Free, family friendly events and ticketed performances including comedy, clown, theatre, music and cabaret with a strong commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and local culture.

This is a collaboration with South Hill Entertainment, Ithaca College and Comedy and the Commons.
The Wedding Show
The Wedding Show is an immersive and interactive dinner theatre style cabaret where you're a guest at a wedding. Guests are invited to explore the venue, eat, drink, dance, make toasts and interact with the Wedding Party. Over the course of the 2.5 hour event the seemingly happy couple unleash some wedding drama, requiring assistance from friends and family to get the event back on track. Guests are encouraged to come in costume, choose a character card and try out their improv skills. Attendees are welcome to just sit back and be a witness as the chaos unfolds.

Ancestors, the latest immersive experience by The Smartphone Orchestra, is a groundbreaking AI-driven performance that invites participants to reflect on a very urgent question: What world will we leave behind for future generations? Guided by their own smartphones, participants embark on a journey into the future, exploring the pressing challenges of tomorrow created by climate change—and eventually how they, only through connection and collaboration - can overcome these obstacles.
Ancestors is a unique journey six generations into the future, where the audience explores how today’s choices shape tomorrow’s world. Using AI and guided by their smartphone, they’ll connect with others in unexpected ways to discover possible futures and face big questions around climate, technology, and society.
It’s fun, immersive, and profound. It will leave them thinking long after the experience ends.
