Cyclists don't have to stop. Cyclists can track stand to stop, they don't have to put a foot down. I live in Idaho, I'm allowed to treat stop signs like yield signs. Cyclists must put a foot down and stop completely.

What is the safest way to ride? *

In a steady trajectory, staying in the center of the lane if there is no bike lane. Dodging between parked cars so that motorists can pass. As far to the right of the road as possible, next to parked cars. As fast as you can so that you don't hold up drivers.

When you're switching lanes When you're turning When you're stopping When you're riding with other cyclists
