Support the Free Courses Fund

Vie Cycle's mission is to improve people's health and happiness by promoting cycling and making our communities more bike-friendly. This starts with education. Courses that empower Womxn/Trans/Femme folks to learn bike maintenance and fall in love with cycling have the power to transform bike culture. Graduates of the workshops often go on to become advocates for better bike infrastructure and mentors for new cyclists.

Donate to the Free Courses Fund to support Vie Cycle's mission!

If you donate $30 or more you can request a free pair of recycled bike part earrings!

A short list of the BENEFITS OF BIKING:

  • Bicycles are an inexpensive mode of alternative/active transportation.
  • They run on human-power, not fossil fuels.
  • Riding makes your body stronger and as a result, it may boost your confidence.
  • Riding bikes improves the economy and actually makes money for cities. *
  • After 30 minutes of riding your body starts producing more chemicals like serotonin, dopamine, and phenylethylamine, which make you happy. You also release more endorphins, which make you feel more elated and reduce pain.**
  • Bicycles are liberating and empowering vehicles because they offer personal freedom to travel and explore the world.
